Josh Trutt, MD

Co-Founder, Chief Medical Officer

Josh Trutt, M.D. is Board-certified in Emergency Medicine and a member of the Alpha Omega Alpha Medical Honor Society. Dr. Trutt is the Co-Founder and Chief Medical Officer of Tribeca Wellness Collective, a lifestyle medicine brand focused on longevity and wellness. He has practiced for over 15 years in trauma centers and children’s hospitals in New York and Austin, in third-world countries, and in disaster relief (Hurricane Katrina and the Thailand tsunami). Over that time he became increasingly motivated by a desire to not just treat heart attacks, strokes and cancer—but to prevent them from happening.

Dr. Trutt is a widely sought after contributor on wellness and anti-aging secrets as featured in publications such as Harper’s Bazar, Well + Good, Marie Claire, Manhattan Magazine and Hamptons Magazine.

Dr. Trutt believes that no one person has all the answers, and has had a number of fantastic mentors in his studies of healthy aging. He initially completed formal certification in Hormone Replacement Therapy and Age Management Medicine through Cenegenics Education and Research Foundation, and worked with Cenegenics for eight months before deciding that there were other avenues of optimizing the aging process that he wanted to explore. He then spent a year learning the evidence-based protocols of Neal Rouzier, M.D., before joining PhysioAge Medical Group in Manhattan. Dr. Trutt considers himself lucky to have built a thriving practice while enjoying the mentorship of the PhysioAge founders, who have a combined 35 years of experience in evidence-based hormone therapies. From 2013-2015 Dr. Trutt focused on adding stem cell and intravenous therapies to his offerings, and has studied under Dr. Paul Anderson, one of the country's leading experts on Intravenous Nutritional therapies and co-author of Outside the Box Cancer Therapies: Alternative Therapies That Treat and Prevent Cancer

In 2017, Dr. Trutt co-Founded and became Medical Director of Curos (www.getcuros.com), a nutraceutical company focused on optimizing cellular health using supplements tailored to one's genetic profile. You can learn more about his transition from Emergency Medicine to Prevention/Wellness on this page

Dr. Trutt is an active member of the Age Management Medicine Group (AMMG), the American Academy of Anti-Aging Medicine (A4M), and the American College of Emergency Physicians (ACEP). He is also a member of the Alpha Omega Alpha Medical Honor Society.

Erica Walters, MD

Co-Founder, Aesthetic & Wellness Medicine Practitioner

Dr. Erica Walters is the co-founder of Tribeca Wellness Collective, a concierge medical practice focused on a 360-degree approach to wellness, anti-aging and disease prevention. Her contagious energy and passion have helped to develop and build our philosophy of mindful cultivation of beauty inside and out.

After graduating from the University of Michigan (Go Blue!), her love of travel brought her to the Sackler Faculty of Medicine in Tel Aviv, Israel. Living in Israel for five years, she was exposed to the cutting edge, international culture of medicine.  Bringing that world class approach back to the East Coast, she realized there was a lack of knowledge regarding stem cell therapies, cancer therapeutics, and longevity medicine.

Determined to combine multi-faceted approaches to medicine, she finished residency at New York Medical College, and went on to become board-certified in both Emergency Medicine and Aesthetic Medicine.

Over the last 8 years, Dr. Erica has cultivated a passion for wellness and integrative beauty, becoming recognized for her natural approach to injectables and comprehensive patient care. Utilizing her training with the Functional Medicine University she became an expert in platelet-rich-plasma (PRP) rejuvenation, using the body’s own healing abilities to turn back the clock.

Dr. Erica is a member of the American Cosmetic Cellular Medicine Association, International Association for Physician in Aesthetic Medicine, American Academy of Anti-Aging, Age Management Medicine Group and American Academy of Aesthetic Medicine.

You can find her contributions in Well + Good, Harpers’ Bazar, New York Post, InStyle Magazine, Sporteluxe and other publications.
